BEAR
(Elk Run Quiggley)
Breeder: Lonn Kuck
Whelped: 05, July, 2006
Weight: 55lbs
Height: 22.25"
Bear is our "Rock", at the end of the day when all the other dogs have run on birds, Bear is waiting quietly for his turn. And he always produces Birds. He has a balanced nature that makes him a dream to have, truely your best buddy.
JACK
(Duff des Boise de la Mariniere)
Breeder: Alexis Joly
Whelped: 27, January, 2008
Weight: 56lbs
Height: 23"
Notable Feature: Naturally Short Tail
Jack is one of the two dogs we count on the most when hunting in a new area. He has a strong and steady gate when searching through cover, and has the unique ability to not only adjust to different types of cover, but also to distinguish. On Grouse he holds his point tall and proud, on Woodcock he holds lower to the ground. He is a very intelegent dog, and one of our strongest hunters.
KC
(Elk Run Kandy Corn)
Breeder: Lonn Kuck
Whelped: 27, October, 2003
Weight: 45lbs
Height: 21.5"
KC is the reason that there is an Aspen Ridge Kennels, and while she is growing older and a bit slower, she still has the same drive and desire to please that she had as a young puppy.
Emy
(Emy du Pas de la Lauze)
Breeder: Franck Chenal
Whelped: 23, April, 2009
Weight: 49lbs
Height: 21.5"
Emy has a very strong desire to please, search, point, and handle birds. She is our "surgical" dog; we taker her into places where the birds spook a bit easier, or the conditions warrant a dog that will listen to our calls more intently. Her natural desire to handle birds, both in traning and while hunting make her an easy dog to work with.
Audrey
(Aspen Ridge Blossom)
Breeder: Mike & Cindy Petkwitz
Whelped: 28, August, 2008
Weight: 38lbs
Height: 20.5"
Audrey has had a long and unusual story ,but she proves that some dogs just need time and patience. When she was 8 weeks old we felt she was too "soft" to go to a home looking for a typical hunting companion. So we placed her in a home of a friend looking for a "walking companion" over the course of the next two years we worked with her and evaluated her. And she grew into a dog that desperatly wanted open fields and birds. After several long talks the owner wanted us to take her back and let her be the hunting dog she was meant to be. She has since turned into an absolute hunting machine. With an AMAZING drive to search for birds and cover ground. As well possesing as a loveable temperment that would melt anyones heart.
Faye
(Faye du Marais Becassier)
Breeder: Brice Bésineaud
Whelped: 04, March, 2010
Weight: 45lbs
Height: 20.5"
Faye is one of our top 2 choices for hunting in new areas. She has an exceptional work ethic under any condition or type of cover. She continues to search when birds are few and far between. Depending on the cover, she ranges anywhere from 45-200 yards, keeping her pace and finishing up a hunt at the same speed as she started. She doesn't want to stop and isn't uncommon for her to stay in the field for up to 4 hours at a time.
Izzy
(Izzy Chasseur D'Aspen Ridge)
Breeder: Cindy & Mike Petkwitz
Whelped: 02, March, 2013
Weight: 47lbs
Height: N/A
Izzy is our newest addition to our family. She was whelped from our last litter from Jack and Faye. She posesses a natural drive to search for birds and point. She is in our evaluation program right now and will not be considered for any type of breeding for quite some time.
